Wiz Khalifa's "Blacc Hollywood" Debuts at #1 on Billboard

Hol’ up hol’ up hol’ up, pop a bottle! The We Dem Boyz rapper and Taylor Gang general, Wiz Khalifa, will surely be popping bottles tonight, as his new album Blacc Hollywood has earned him his first career #1 album. According to Billboard, Wiz sold 90,000 copies of the LP in its first week, surpassing the Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack, which fell to # 2 with 64,000 copies sold.

Although he has the #1 album right now, the sales for Blacc Hollywood were not on par with his previous two major label releases. In 2011, Rolling Papers debuted at #2 with 197,000 copies sold and 2012′s O.N.I.F.C. also landed at #2 with 148,000 copies sold. Regardless, this is a great feat for Wiz and we wish him continued success!

"Wiz Khalifa's "Blacc Hollywood" Debuts at #1 on Billboard", 5 out of 5 based on 7 ratings.
