Much of (if not all of) the hip-hop community is heartbroken given last night’s decision to not try Darren Wilson in a court of law for murdering Mike Brown in Ferguson. Outrage regarding the decision is universal, as protests can be seen all over America.
One of the cities with a heavy presence of demonstration is Seattle, where platinum rapper Macklemore joined protesters in his hometown, where he held his hands high in the iconic “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot” chant, while also running from police that were dispersing crowds on Interstate 5.
