Rick Ross’ career is falling to pieces right in front of us all. After getting numerous concerts cancelled due to the lyrics, the madness continues as TMZ broke the news that Rick Ross has officially been dropped by Reebok. Ross inked an endorsement deal with Reebok last year in effort to rack up more sales but now that Ross is getting a lot of negative feedback from his controversial rape lyric in U.O.E.N.O., Reebok gave him the boot.

Here’s what Reebok had to say:
“Reebok holds our partners to a high standard, and we expect them to live up to the values of our brand.  Unfortunately, Rick Ross has failed to do so. While we do not believe that Rick Ross condones sexual assault, we are very disappointed he has yet to display an understanding of the seriousness of this issue or an appropriate level of remorse.”

Well, Rick Ross has a lot of explaining to do about his controversial date rape lyrics in the song U.O.E.N.O., in which Rozay said “Put molly all in her champagne/She ain’t even know it/I took her home and I enjoyed that/She ain’t even know it.” In this interview with Q93.3, Ross talks about the lyrics (around the 4:25 mark) and says it’s just a misunderstanding and says he doesn’t promote or condone rape.
