Only one month after the release of his third studio album Nothing Was The Same, Drake has earned himself yet another plaque to add to the wall because that very album has now gone platinum! Here is some pretty shocking and unfortunate news – Drake and Future are reportedly in a $1.5 million feud over Drake’s forthcoming tour, titled Would You Like A Tour. The original lineup consisted of Drake, Future and Miguel but now it appears that somebody else will be taking Future’s spot – possibly Jhené Aiko, who hinted at it on Instagram.
This report comes shortly after an interview that Future had with Billboard, where he said: “Drake made an album that is full of hits but it doesn’t grab you. They’re not possessive; they don’t make you feel the way I do.” According to Future and his managers, the text was misworded, but it doesn’t look like Drake is buying it.
We’ll keep you updated when new details emerge.
UPDATE: Apparently Future has been added back to the tour, as Drake and Future settled their differences last night. This news comes from Hot 107.9, who also reported that the paperwork has been signed for the tour.
