Schoolboy Q & Kanye West’s First Ever Collaboration is Coming

Schoolboy Q & Kanye West’s First Ever Collaboration is Coming

UPDATE: The song has arrived! Click here to listen!

Could the first ever Schoolboy Q x Kanye West collaboration be upon us? It sure looks like it.

Earlier today, Kanye randomly tweeted at Schoolboy Q saying “get Top Dawg on the phone!” to which Q replied with “#THatPart.”

But wait, there’s more!

Last night, an LA-based photographer named Bart Hufs posted an image on Instagram of an email from director Ryan Smith. The email is about a casting call for a video shoot for “School Boy Q ft Kanye West” in LA on May 13.

UPDATE: The photographer deleted the Instagram post but we have screenshots. Check them out below.

Everything adds up.

To add some more validity to the situation, Schoolboy Q has always wanted to work with Kanye. Peep the tweet (from 2010) below.

Q’s album will likely be released before the summer ends, so we should expect to hear That Part sooner rather than later.

Also, given the magnitude of a Kanye feature, this song will likely be a pre-release single, which would mean it could be dropping even sooner than we think. Next week, maybe?

So, now that the rumors are spreading, let’s hope Schoolboy Q will come out and tell us when to expect the audio and/or video.

What are you expecting from this surprise collaboration?
