Having an album go gold in today’s day and age is hard as it is, but for a debut album to go gold is something very special. Kendrick Lamar’s good kid, m.A.A.d city has just earned that special status, as his album is now certified gold (500,000 copies sold) within 5 weeks of release. Congrats to Kendrick and the TDE/Aftermath team!
