Kendrick Lamar “good kid m.A.A.d. city” First Week Album Sales

Kendrick Lamar’s debut album good kid m.A.A.d. city has been the talk of the town for the past few weeks and now the final sales numbers are in. Kendrick’s LP landed at the #2 spot on the charts with 242,122 copies sold in its first week. Unfortunately it couldn’t top the charts because there was no way it would outsell Taylor Swift’s incredible album Red, which sold a whopping 1.2 million copies in the first week. Regardless, Congratulations to Kendrick Lamar and TDE.

Update: Final number is 241,000 via Billboard
