Gucci Mane Released From Prison

The day has finally come.

Gucci Mane pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon in May of 2014 and was sentenced to 39 months in prison. He served the majority of his time at a prison in Indiana before his release today.

He was originally scheduled for release this September, but good behavior may have played a role in him getting out early.

This is a developing story, we will have more news as it breaks.

UPDATE (3:39pm): TMZ has also confirmed the news and got an explanation as to how he was released 4 months early.

According to their report, his lawyer filed a motion months ago stating that Gucci had not received credit for previous time served.

He will be on house arrest for a few months, followed by probation.

UPDATE 2 (3:45pm): We now have video of Gucci fresh out of prison…and his gut is gone! Check out some clips below!

UPDATE 3 (4:00pm): Apparently Gucci Mane is recording a new mixtape tonight and releasing it tomorrow! This news comes from KY Engineering, an engineer who has working with Gucci in the past. Check the tweet below.
