Two of the biggest singles of the year are selling just as we’d expect, especially when they were crafted by two of Hip-Hop’s hottest artists in the game right now – Drake and Eminem.
Drake’s lead single from his Nothing Was The Same album, Hold On We’re Going Home, moved 131,000 units this week, bringing its total to 1,062,000. The Majid Jordan-featured track is the one that Drake wants to be played at Weddings 10 years down the road and it very well has a chance.
On the other hand, Eminem‘s Rick Rubin-produced single Berzerk moved 115,000 copies this week, bringing the total over a million, 1,110,000 to be exact. His new album The Marshall Mathers LP 2 is set to hit stores on November 5th and it should also have no problem moving well over 1 million units.
Side Note: Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake’s Magna Carta single sold 118,000 copies this week, bringing the total to 2,049,000.
Congrats to all three artists on the great accomplishments!
