After numerous delays and thoughts that it would never come, Chris Brown has finally announced a new, reasonable release date for his next studio album, X. Breezy took to his Twitter account to reveal that the new release date is set for May 5th. In the tweet, which can be seen below, he says: ““X” is by far my best album yet…. Setting the date for MAY 5.“ Hopefully we get a new single soon!
A couple of days ago there were rumors spreading that Lil Wayne’s next studio album Tha Carter V will be getting the surprise release treatment, similar to Beyonce’s recently released self-titled album. Now those rumors can be put to rest, as Weezy and Drake have both announced that the LP will be released on May 5th while performing at the House Of Blues out in New Orleans tonight. We can expect further details to arise in the coming weeks/months.
In the meantime, don’t forget that the Young Money compilation album, Young Money: Rise of an Empire, will be released on March 11th.

DJ Khaled released a new vlog earlier today, and in the video, Khaled informs us that his upcoming album Suffering From Success has been pushed back to a October 22nd release date.
The delay is most likely due to Drake’s Nothing Was The Same album being released on the same date as the original planned release date, September 24th.
